NorthWood JV -Westview JV 0-2
Most of the match was as ugly as the shirts on the backs of the Westview players. NW was not able to do too much offensively. There is a lot of work to be done especially when it comes to first touches and passing accurately. It is clear that players need to work hard during practices, games and on their own time to improve their skills. It is important that players do some off season work (such as coming to Open Gyms, play indoors or play in the 7v7 summer leagues). The varsity players are a great example of that. Most if not all of them participate in at least two of the above mentioned options. We have a lot of multi sport athletes so no one is asking athletes to focus on one or two sports but when they have the opportunity to do some work with a soccer ball it will pay off.
