VV Grijpskerk - Westerlee 6-3

HENDRIK JAN SMIT SCORES QUICKEST GOAL IN CLUB HISTORY
After viewing the videos of the games so far this season it seems that it is easy for the VV to score a lot of goals this year. 39 goals have been put in the back of the net so far this year after 6 games. However, 11 goals have been given up as well which leads one to believe that the defense needs to improve. The season is split up in three periods. Each period has a champion who qualifies for the postseason with a chance of promotion to the 2nd division. Grijpskerk is undefeated and has won the first period. This week, Hendrik Jan Smit scored the opening goal after 28(!!) seconds. The club's archives have been researched and it is now official; this is the quickest goal in club history. It was also the first time this season that the VV was able to play at the new game field at Sports Park "De Enk".
