NEC - FC Groningen 5-1

The FC was humiliated 5-1 by NEC (Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie) in the McDOS De Goffert Stadium this afternoon. The FC had to deal with NEC while missing five injured starters. The very young Jeroen Veldmate (Henk's son) made his Eredivisie debut.
