VV Grijpskerk - HS '88 & VV Grijpskerk- De Pelikanen updates

The seventh straight win came against HS'88 with a 6-2 home win on 10/20/07. On 10/27/07 the redshirts had to travel to Appingedam. A fan tour with fan bus followed the team to the eastern part of the province near the German border. Fifth place De Pelikanen (in the 2nd division last year) was not able to play up to Grijpskerk's level but managed to pull out a 2-2 tie. The draw was dissapointing to the VV even though they were missing three starters. Still undefeated (7-0-1), the VV are now preparing for an away fixture against Corenos Groningen on November 3rd.
