VV Grijpskerk - Leeuwarder Zwaluwen 4-0

Playing the #3 Leeuwarder Zwaluwen from the Frisian Capital did not intimidate the VV Grijpskerk. After a well played game the VV seems to peak at the right time to finish the season strong. t' Fean 58 lost 1-3 to Buitenpost and lost valuable point to Grijpskerk who now possesses first place by itself, 3 points ahead of 't Fean 58 with three games to go. This coming weekend will be THE derby to watch when Grijpskerk travels to 't Fean 58. If Grijpskerk pulls off a win, t' Fean 58 would only be able to tie with the redshirts if Grijpskerk would lose the remaining two games and 't Fean 58 would win both. Both teams have won a period championship as well. Grijpskerk is still in the race for the Cup as well meaning that this years competitions have already been the most succesful in club history, no matter what happens. Winning the 2nd division outright would mean promotion to the first division. If the club would not win the division outright it still qualifies for the promotional 1st division play offs because of the 2nd period championship. In other words, there are a lot of things to look for in April and May.
