Goshen-NorthWood 6-0 (4-0)

#3 Goshen defeats unranked NorthWood 6-0. Goshen is a very skilled an talented team and despite the fact that NW gets some chances, none pass the goal line. Varsity falls to 3-7 on the season. The JV squad puts in a good effort but loses 1-0. The JV plays in the NLC JV Tourney tomorrow (Saturday) at Goshen. Their first game starts at 9 am on Field 2 vs. Concord. The second game will be at Noon against either Goshen or Northridge (depending on the outcome of the first games). Varsity's next game is Monday September 19 at home vs. Elkhart Christian at 7 pm. The JV travels to Penn Monday for a 5 pm kick off. Of the 6 remaining games for Varsity, 5 will be played at home (4 game home stretch starts Monday against ECA followed by Memorial,Ft. Wayne Concordia and Glenn respectively). Today's practice will start in Coach Duerksen's room for an analytical session followed by a short training field session.
