After waking up Cesar and Eddy, which made for a rocky start of the day, the team got a notification from our "AD" that the Crown Point Invite had been canceled due to the flooding of the fields. At this point we had logged 62 miles and were west of Wanatah. Our bus driver, unusually chatty, turned the bus around and continued our trip eastbound. Technically, the cancelation turns into two forfeits. Our record now stands at 3-2-3. Tuesday is our next home game (vs. Warsaw). Due to the weather, it is unknown where practice will be held monday. An announcement will be made during the course of the day.
So, after 124 miles, the team returned to NorthWood with the advantage of being able to rest up for two ranked NLC opponents next week.
